Architecture Photography fascinates me despite being so different from what I photograph. Rules and approaches are different, shadows play a bigger role, highlighting the structure of the subject and even when the subject is static, everything around changes, providing the opportunity of portraying a building in a completely different way every time.

This series was definitely a challenge for me because of the irregularity of the structure and the hardness of it, with a lot of right angles and grey stone surfaces. I wasn’t initially convinced that I could do a good photography work but I told myself that I would be able to learn much more about architecture photography by having to find the beauty side of this building than from a wonderful architecture piece, as for example the Langen Fundation or The Glasscube.
